Devon Matson
Devon Matson attended Eisenhower High and then moved on to Yakima Valley Community College, earning and associate degree in civil engineering. After graduation, he landed a job on a survey crew in the Yakima County Public Works department and fell in love with surveying. 13 years were dedicated to the department, providing layout for miles of roads under construction, building bridges and collecting topography, then moving into the office for calculation, preparation and processing of survey data. From there, Devon moved to the Washington State Department of Transportation survey department, where he managed multiple crews in preliminary survey work far and wide across the state. He left the DOT to pursue his interest in a more personal experience with clients, and to focus more on providing a positive impact locally, right here in the Yakima valley. Devon joined Gray Surveying, calculating and drafting records, providing field crew support, and helping clients through the courses of their unique projects.
